This premium crop comes from the land of Colombia, specifically from the Quindío region, Armenia, at an altitude ranging between 1200-1700 meters above sea level, where Carlos Arcila's farm, called Castellón, is located, covering an area of 7 hectares at an altitude of up to 1450 meters above sea level.
Carlos Arcila comes from a Colombian family that cultivates coffee. With his experience and knowledge, when he bought the farm 32 years ago, he managed to prepare the soil, revive its natural springs, and develop it. He also planted beautiful colorful flower shrubs such as Heliconia and Romelia, and several native trees. Now, the Castellón farm surrounded by trees looks truly amazing.
Carlos was known for applying strict agricultural practices, which contributed to producing high-quality coffee crops.
The crop was processed using the anaerobic honey method, where the coffee is fermented for up to 72 hours while preserving the mucilage surrounding the coffee beans, then spread on raised beds.
